Not quite as sharp as I would like because I seem to have trouble telling the difference between 1/50 and 1/500 on the screen but will post anyway. Lesson learned...

A little messing around shooting with the neighbor boy. Some day I might try some senior pix!

You beat me to it. I saw OP's instruction for no brick walls and I thought of doing something like that but it is so hard to find walls made of bricks here that are reasonably interesting. The house I live in has brick walls of the boring modern style (10 years old). Most of the walls around her are in some form of stone.

I noticed those instructions, too This brick wall is part of what remains of St. Olaf's Abbey in Oslo - it was founded in 1239, abandoned after the reformation in 1536 and partly torn down. What remains today serves as the basement of one of the wings of the bishop's residence (in use until fairly recently).

I think the biggest test would have been building that structure. Thanks for the story about it and for sharing the image with us.

K-3 and DA* 60-250 with HD DA 1.4 TC @350mm
800ISO, ƒ8, AV mode (between 1/320s and 1/2000s)

There are so many, I stand in the middle of the flock and wait for them to land on a convenient branch, that I have my camera pointed at Because sooner or later they land on every thing around. You just have to wait. Then move slow, and it doesn't matter how close they are, they usually hang around for a bit.

I may have posted a similar image on this thread. The "mountains" on the right, near background are actually huge sand dunes. K3 + 16~85mm
