Just back from a couple of weeks in Spain. Mostly for a festival called Las Fallas, but I did manage a couple of short macro sessions. So before I post festival photos, here's another lady...bug! ;-)

I've got one on order, it should be here Tuesday.... the tracking form says it's in Montreal right now. For those moments when ƒ4, doesn't really work. And because Tess really prefers primes. I keep telling her zooms are good. She keeps not listening.

give her the 21ltd, the 40XS, the FA 50 her Tamron 90 and this lens and the 1.7 TC and she won't have a care in the world. The one thing you do have with primes is, except for our old Vivatar M 135 2.8, you don't have to worry about is, "is it sharp enough and have low enough CA for the TC."

For whatever reason, I hadn't seen any posts from you in a while and had feared you had moved on! Glad to see another one of your awesome macro posts. I need to figure out focus stacking, there is some amazing moss and lichen at my cottage property. My attempts at macro photography of it have been hit and miss so far.

Some great fog at the lake this weekend. Took this in the rain this morning. HDR stitching didn't turn out, turns out I didn't need it. When I got down from the loft, I couldn't see past the first tree, then things cleared up - the fog was moving quickly!

LeRolls sign me up for that book but ship it blind I have to hide it from the wife....

First try ever at rolling shots. Check that one off the bucket list!

And first try ever shooting a troubadour! That was never on the bucket list and not quite the hot model at the lake I had in mind...
