Just curious...based on your use of both lenses, within their overlapping focal range (24-50mm) on apsc which seems better? Its a general question so a general answer is fine.

24-70 has less vignetting and sharper corners wide open. They are the same stopped down to f4. 16-50 has nicer diffraction stars (24-70 stars look like blobs for the most part). Colors are pretty equivalent. I posted some comparison shots earlier on the 24-70 thread.

Always a fine day! I love longer primes for portraits, you get those amazing bokeh powers, even at relatively smaller f stops.

Testing my Newly acquired Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6 My first Sigma lens ever. Just a quick shot of my HO train layout shot at 16mm @ F10. It seems sharp enough...Focus point is on the Soo Line switcher.I'll have to wait till we get a sunny day to test it outside.

I'm already planning my 200mm shoot off poll to see if there's a difference. I have the DA*60-250, the DA* 200, A sigma 70-300 and an F 70-210. We'll play, "Pick That Prime", or "What's your favourite image?"

The good thing for me is, if I post it and walk away from it for half an hour, it's a blind test for me. I can't remember which is which anymore.

I've had the F 70-210. The DA *200 will beat it and the cheap Sigma hands down. The DA*60-250 may give it a run for the money but I'm sure the 200 will pull ahead. I hope Tess is reading your posts That way she can say "I told you so"

I love this photo, and this setup. The accident scene is outstanding!

I have a friend in Tokyo who has a big garden with a big artificial pond full of beautiful Kois. Unfortunately he also has a wild resident Heron or Egret (I don't know which) visiting him from time to time to have a bit of a feed.

On one of my visits some time ago I presented him with one of those polystyrene crocs I purchased in Queensland. Problem solved.

I like how the out of focus light blue building compliments the blonde hair and blue striped shirt.

Sigma 10-20 F4 5.6 shot at F9. I may have a slight de-centering issue on the left hand side. Although with this particular image I focused the building on the right hand side so it's not really fair.Wondering what the cost would be to have Sigma align it...I only paid $210 for the lens
