Love the lights in Scorpios night shots! Well done!
Thankyou, hopefully I can back out again soon. The weather has been so cold lately. Trying to get a crisp shadow on a portrait shot like that is tough. The lighting has to be perfect. Getting enough DOF can be tricky too. I would have picked a smoother surface over brick but portrait photography has never really been my thing. Overall nice shot though.

I hope you guys aren't getting too tired of birds, there's not much else to take pictures of around here.

K-3 and DA*200 ƒ2.8, and F 1.7 AF adapter, for 340mm.

We have birds and snow, and this picture has both.

There are several kinds of tropical birds here at Fredrick Meijer Gardens And Sculpture Park. I do not know the names of them and they are not listed on the website. They rarely come out when I'm there. Usually only when the crowds are smaller. Here is another one.

It's tough to tell how good it is from web sized images, you lose a lot if detail when you downsize. IN some cases today, I like the web images, because they remind me of how good those images were before I shrunk them down. I usually view on a 2560x 1440 screen. I can see that happened to your duck. You can see it, but it's much more impressive 4x that size, I'm sure.

It still tasted good though.....they shrink sometimes when I cook them too long.

K3 and the Bigma at 500mm handheld.

Unlike LeRolls, this about as pretty as my models get.
