Milkweed from last Autumn, K3 and I think the 200 SMCA macro (might have been a Tokina 90mm f2.5 macro - don't remember for sure).

Trust me when I say that it is most definitely not impossible. If you keep at it you will grow and get better. If you build strong relationships with your models they will grow as well and you will feed off each other's passion/creativity. You just have to keep at it. Don't get discouraged when there are setbacks or obstacles. Focus on finding solutions and making compromises you can live with. Work within your restrictions and make the most of what you have. That's my .02 cents anyway.

Natalie is back! For this shot I kind of wanted to try something a bit over-the-top. The model loves it.

LOL over the top? I would say that's under the bum! Thanks for the encouragement that means a lot!

Shot this about 15 minutes after sunset with a street light over head and small flash light in her face.

Unless my mind deceives me, I see two formidable young women above. Both look like they know how to deal with a Tom-fool.

I like the framing and composition overall. Her expression and pose seem to convey a bit of her personality. Not sure about her choice of sweater maybe a leather/denim jacket would have been better. You are pushing the ISO a bit for portrait work in my opinion but it is still usable. The processing is maybe a bit dark for my tastes but I am sure there are some that don't like my processing either. All in all though I think you are certainly getting better results. I will say that the image grabbed my attention as I was scrolling down.

Amazing how different the perspective can be with the two lenses. Was your man at different height when they were taken?
Great shots
