Out and about a bit

A while back I fell into a very nice deal on a 100mm f/2.8 WR but with one thing and another never got a chance to use it. Finally got out a bit during the past week. I still don't know how to shoot macros but this thing is insanely sharp so I just left it on the camera for everything.

The clouds turned to a nice color evening before last. And a couple more old shots to go along with it

Thank you I only had time to shoot from the balcony and the color was more intense towards the setting sun, but I liked the pale pink here. Appreciate your comment

DA 14....... Our annual train show in Davenport Iowa. It was packed this year since the weather was rainy and miserable. I helped set up over 300 vendor tables. I think we had a banner year. Sadly none of LeRolls models attended the show. Nothing but miles and miles of fat middle aged old men. Go figure?

A couple of night shots from Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill in Kentucky (a beautiful and very peaceful spot).

Sunset and sunrise from Iceland. The Summer Solstice at midnight, not at the Arctic Circle so the sun did dip below the horizon, but the afterglow was strong all the time until it started to rise again.
