These are new maple leaves by a street light. I really like them this time of year, they are pretty interesting, illuminated through the street lamps.
Light green of the new maple leaves/flower is so uplifting and lit up in the dark its almost an art I like this shot.
These flowers are blooming in the yards around here

Thanks! I don't think it's what I meant to be going for with that shot, but I like it.

That's a really nice photo of chives, so colourful!

Flatey (Icelandic) home and outbuildings. I'm not certain but I suspect the cement tower is some kind of lookout left over from WW II.

Thanks! It's one of Natalie's favorite shots. I don't do too much studio shoots if I can help it so no. It was low tide at the beach so I got her to snuggle into one of the caves.

I like the composition but am a little confused by the lighting. The foreground is in focus but in shadow while the background is the opposite. I wonder if it's possible to do the reverse? I'm no expert though, just my feeling.
The lighting is a bit odd! It's a street light, illuminating it from behind... I didn't have that long to mess around with it, maybe I'll go out again tonight...

How about metering on the light and fill flash?
