Some recent shots - in decreasing order of magnification or increasing creature size, if you prefer...

My first impression of the image above: a publicity still from GOT. That's a compliment.

Game of Thrones? Oh ya, the "as soon as anyone displays anything resembling a positive attribute or becomes at all likeable, they die" series. The message is clear, good cannot win, only evil triumphs. The more evil the better.

Who says you cannot get a bird with 135mm manual focus lens and a bit of patience!
First two pictures are taken with Mamiya Auuto Sekor 135mm F2.8 and the last one with Super-Takumar 135mm F3.5.
Two different woodpeckers... The first one has red on his head and the other one does not.

Stitched panorama with the K3 & DA 18-55 WR.

This is the view inland from the top of the Vizcaya "hanging bridge" (puente colgante).

Great shot for a kit lens. If I didn't know any better I'd say it was taken by the new D FA 24-70.

A clover flower, shot with the DA* 50-135/2.8. It's not really a macro lens, but did OK with a tight crop.
