Some DA 70mm shots taken on the K3, through a dirty car window speeding along the motorway at 120km/h (no, I wasn't driving) - I've found a new use scenario for TAv mode . They required some cropping and PP. IQ is far from the best but I liked the way they turned out.

Norm, you must have been close enough to hand feed the squirrel! Great shots.
Minimum focusing distance is 4 feet, and I wasn't much more than that.

Awesome picture. I have a question. I'm wondering if you considered removing the branch on the lower bottom corner?

I didn't, but it probably wouldn't be hard to do. The lake is really high right now, making photography tougher around the edge. A lot of the more interesting rocks are under water right now.

My cliche railroad tracks shot. I forgot to bring a guitar and some vintage luggage but at least I had a pretty girl.

Glad you remembered the important element of the picture. Would not have been the same with tracks and luggage piled on them.

First post of any of my K-3 photos. The lens is an smc PENTAX-D FA Macro 100mm F2.8 WR which I really love. Now to see if this photo post works.

Sharp images So much detail. On the last squirrel, is it just the angle or is the squirrel missing an arm?

He's not missing an arm, and I'm amazed at how often they look like they are. It seems to be squirrel thing.
