Sharp images So much detail. On the last squirrel, is it just the angle or is the squirrel missing an arm?
I think he has his paw strong flexed = curled up toward his chest. Fairly typical squirrely posture, akin to how their forepaws are when sitting on their haunches and holding something to eat.

I have taken too many photos of this statue, this year, but here's another one. I quite like it, and I find it's a great subject for testing out lenses.

There are two of these lions as part of this impressive arch in Ottawa.

Norm, are you doing something different in your post-processing? I see a lot less output sharpening, and I much prefer it. Your shots look wonderful

Intriguing view. I've often wondered how to best capture that construction crane assembly - you've got it, I think!

I've altered my K-3 preset so it uses about 1/4 the sharpening of my old K-5 preset. Tess got on my case about it, I was procrastinating. After all, what's little over sharpening amongst friends? Usually when you nail a K-3 image, it needs very little sharpening. I'm down to about 10% sharpening and 10% definition. Usually if I want "sharper looking", definition works better than actual sharpening. Creating the impression of sharpening without the artifacts.
