More photos of the hummers... the bugs are so bad, I can only stay out for so long, and almost missed my light, which led to lighting maybe 60º sidelight, which in turn led to some very good contrast in the feather detail. Most images were ruined because he turned his head the wrong way or was in complete shadow, but the ones that came out look good to me.
On the second one, there is actually feather detail in the wing. I guess 1/4000s is what you need to freeze a hummingbird.
