Madeiran wall lizard in the Azores. The lizard was introduced from Madeira at an unknown time in the past and with the thousands of miles of stone walls on the Azores, it is thriving. The European wall lizard has also been introduced but as best I can determine on only one of the islands.

Thanks! I must admit that girl intrigues me. There are prettier girls out there but still I do not know, she has something... I wanted her to have just a good picture, not a eyebrow fetish more like perfectionist. Hope this explains.

Sofia is a lovely girl and also happens to be quite into photography herself. She has volunteered to assist me on future photoshoots with the other models and I think I may just take her up on that offer. I have of course had numerous offers from guys to assist me but I think having a female assistant would put the models more at ease.

These are black-bellied whistling ducks, a South American species that has made it to the southern USA (Florida), but these were in a garden in the Azores. No pens, no sign of clipped wings. No source I can find lists this duck as occurring on the Azores. No idea if the species has recently arrived on its own, or if these were introduced by humans. Anyone know?
