I discovered this majestic hawk in our backyard perched on a neighbors wooden fence. I photographed him from about 25' for quite some time and kept thinking to myself, why is he sitting here for so long? Soon after I had those thoughts I was signaled by my dog of fresh kill in the grass only several feet away from where he was perched. The first two shots were handheld and the last one was taken on a tripod during interval shooting. He turned his back to the camera for most of the 300 or so shots taken on the tripod. 18-135mm
Someday I hope I can get a similar sequence.

Nice shooting

Silly photo, testing colour shifting with coloured flash gels. Could really use some ganged flash units to do this well. Silly effect.

Edit: in case it's not clear, the colour shift in the background is done entirely with a white balance adjustment! :-)

I really like the similar hair and shirt, but not quite identical. Implies the son is like his dad, but he's not a clone.

Rondec - I really like that image. It tells so much about what's important about life.

Chris - I like this image too. All of your images are sexy without being slutty or cheap.

Both of these photos make me what to know more - Well done.
