It's been a long hot day and this rock is cool b/c of the shade

after a long hot day, just relaxing on the cooler rock in the shade

K - 3 + Tamron AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 LD Macro 1:2

Topeka Zoological Park, Topeka KS

(I watched this squirrel run across the path, jump up on a fence and run from post to post for 15 - 20 ' until it reached the shaded rock and it just flattened out and stayed for a few minutes.)

Some more shots from a bouncy boat

Very happy with the K-3ii + DA* 60-250mm for capturing the annual Hull Yacht Club "Great Chase Race". Even though the boat I was on was bouncing like a baby I'm impressed with how many keepers I got. Here are a few:

If I were doing this for a living I'd definitely want to invest in a gyro stabilizer! :P

Ha ha. I'd like to see if there was a spike of K3s and K3 IIs for sale a few months ago. I don't plan on selling mine but shoot more and more film these days.
