K-3 and DA 100 macro with HD DA 1.4 TC

The wold flowers around the garden are causing all kinds of activity. This section usually gets mowed as part of the lawn, today it was just full of life.

Looking for fireflies in the field. I think the cool night dampened their spirits, hardly any out compared to the other night.

More fireflies - just impossible to get good focus at night it seems, but still fun to try.

I'm afraid the fireflies are more interested in the ladies than posing for the photographer. Nice shooting.

Thanks. These were with a 28mm lens, thinking I'll go to a 15mm or 16mm if I get another nice night for it. If nothing else, all the waiting around on bulb shots makes me go out and really appreciate how fun a field full of fireflies is to watch.
