Found this older man during his daily walk. He said that his name is Jim.

Singing in the rain along with my Pentax K-3II and HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE. Rained all day, but that didn't stop me from a walk around the yard having fun in the rain to take these snapshots. Went inside after to dry off and processed these three lightly with love in darktable.

Very nice marine shots. I do not live near the water, so never realized that catamarans were built that large.
Thanks, Ivan. Yes, that is a fairly large one but they do come even larger. You can't park a single hull vessel on the beach like that one is.

Beautiful soft light on a rainy day has really helped to produce great images. Pentax products also helped too.

Fascinating. You inspired me to read up on all sorts of catamarans!

Back in the early 80s I saw the shed where a very large, comparatively, catamaran was being built by the person who built the 'Monash Playground'. The shed was a lot further from the Murray River than the playground. Not sure how the builder planned on getting it somewhere for launch.

The playground eventually closed because it was too good for business at the Renmark Hospital.

If you cannot find it with Google, just think children's playground equipment in a size and scale to satisfy young adults. Several deaths happened there.

Visiting Canadian forces base Shilo, they had a special parade, they fired this howitzer, it was very noisy!

Well shot, Tuggie. It's things like that for the 10 years I spent in the military that are part of the reason I just got hearing aids. The biggest part, though, is probably because I was born in 1940 ...

I love the sky in the ferry shot, and I miss the salt water. I grew up about 120 miles North of Seattle (Crescent Beach, BC -- NW of WhiteRock).

Sparwood is that last on the way out to the East on the Southern route: Highway 3. Look for the big green truck. (A California transplant by J Edgar Kaiser, Jr.).
