Seriously, I use a couple of my wife's fluffy tuques to collect flakes as the snow is falling, and one of them is this dark brown-reddish color. It's probably my best flake photography accessory, precisely because it's what gives the shots that distinctive background color and texture.

focused right on the small post. 17mm. The camera had trouble picking it out and threw the focus into the background. Typical.

That peanut feeder is really popular, sometimes 2 or 3 birds are on it at the same time.
