I never can remember

isn't there something about angles in a photograph?

letting an angle take your eye to the main subject ?

I did the best I could but

the tail of this Scissor Tailed Flycatcher is just so darn long - - -

thank you

hand held, braced as much as possible while sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle

right place, right time, good equipment and cooperative model ( it stayed in one place ) helps a lot

I like it. The composition emphasizes the tail length, which is a good thing in my view.

X-posted to the Spiders thread. Reversed Adaptall 28-70mm zoom (@35mm) on 50mm of extension. These cute spiders are incredibly tiny.

K-3 and AF Tamron 300 2.8 and 1.4 TC.

New arrivals, a returning pair of Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, probably the ones that have nested just down the hill from us for the last few years.

One of 6 Blue Jays who will probably be with us for the summer now.

The neighbourhood Ruffed Grouse

Male Purple Finch

And we had a short visit to the park, yesterday. We went looking for a moose, and we found a moose. How rare is that?
