Hello,
just got my K-3 yesterday and did some test shots in bad light conditions at home. Here is a HDR1 18-135mm WR-Kit lens shot and a little improvement with LR5...

All excited

Chuffed to see such crisp pictures with the 60-250 and 1.4TC combination. On the UK Pentax user site, just after I ordered my 1.4TC today (arrives tomorrow) I started to see some doubting its crispness and the benefit of 1.4x.

I'm finally sorted with tripod, 60-250, 1.4TC and remote control via the O-FC1 to do some nice birdy shots.

This would seem to suggest it does a great job.

Paul.

K-3
DA* 60-250 + HD DA 1.4 TC

It was -14 today and a cold -14 so it was cold, but that keeps the birds busy eating enough to keep warm

The Starling... back again today... there was a blackish purple one with them we assume was a male...

A Downy Woodpecker, not a great shot, but today's shot, they all can't be show stoppers..

Mr. and Mrs Purple Finch...

A couple of active chickadee images...

The Star of the day was the nuthatch...

Tomorrow the feeding starts bright and early... be there or be square.

Perfect, thank you for that! My tc has been on order for a while now with B&H and this morning finally showed in stock, order sent to warehouse. Hopefully will have it to use on my DA*300 by next weekend. After seeing your pictures I am even more anxious to get it in hand.
