Phoenix like resurrection of a disastrous field trip. My K3 reset (once again) to JPEG S *** whilst trying to complete HDR panoramas and I didn't notice until I got home. These are all shot with the HD DA20-40mm Ltd and recorded as JPEG S *** files. The lake /island shot is a simple 5 bracketed exposure combined in Photomatix the other two are complex HDR panoramic shots. Yup, they could be a lot better as RAW conversions., but I got lemons and tried to make lemonade.

Nice sharp shot, but shadows appear too green.

Those are great images. I wish some of my own field trips could be equally disastrous

Thanks rawr, it is quite remarkable how good the *** small JPEGS are, especially when combined to multi layer panoramas. The first panorama resulted in a photo merged TIFF of 312 MB. To think how big it would be if I'd shot RAW......................

Just try to be helpful, they are all under exposed, perhaps the first one not so much.

Finally being patient with Lightroom. But still alittle impatient on the small stuff.

Today I got behind the wheel of my car for the first time in over 4 months (recuperating after a really long hospital stay). It was wonderful not only the freedom, but the ability to go somewhere just to shoot. Today I went in search of geese and found a couple:

Really nice panoramas. Do you only bracket the shutter speed or do you use ISO aswell?
