I'm finding the 21mm Limited to be a damn fine little lens:

That last one with the snow kicking back is sweet - nice catch.

Rondec,

As someone whose only experience of being in Indiana is driving the I-80/90 and I-70 corridors you have convinced me that there is a lot more to that state than most people see. Thank you for you photos.

Finally happy with Astrotracer

I am quite pleased with this Astrotracer image taken last night using the K-3 + DA 21mm.
Combination of two images (one for the stars using Astrotracer and one for the foreground without).
Exposures: both images taken at f/5.6, ISO 200, 4 minutes.

Just bpught my new K3

I'm a long time Pentax owner (started with the MX) and now I have a K3. I was wondering if anyone has used the Astrotracker function on the K3. Since astronomy is one of my interests, I found this function re-resistible. Acording to the manual, you can program a timed exposure of up to 5 minutes and the camera's shake reduction function kicks in and tracks the stars. Since I live in Michigan, I have to deal with "Michigan Sun Shine" (mostly overcast skies) and I haven't had the chance to try it. If there is someone who has, please post to this forum with your thoughts. Thanks!

Indoor ambient lighting, no pp, ISO 2500

OK, I've been testing all my lenses for auto focus with my new K3. This was the last one, a Tamron 90 x 2.8 Di hand held. Seems all my lenses are spot on.

Thank you for the kind words. If you ever get a chance to drive through I-64, you will see a little different part of the state. It is definitely a lot more hilly and interesting than the northern part of the state (atlhough there is beauty everywhere).
