quick macro stack test using my K-3 with a new DA Limited 35mm Macro. Stack of 17 images processed in Zerene Stacker:

Not a bad little lens!

That's amazing

Cross posted from just about everywhere...

A few more images, this time using the Sigma 70 macro and 1.4 TC.. which registers as a 98mm ƒ4.

K-3 SIgma 70 macro with HD DA 1.4 TC

Wide open at ƒ4

Stopped down to ƒ22

Rondec, I'm always impressed with your sunrise and sunset shots. Do you typically set white balance to Auto or Daylight for these? Thanks.

Thank you. I use auto white balance -- it is really good on the K3, on the K5 it seemed to struggle more. This particular shot was processed in Nik Effects Viveza and Color Efex Pro to bring up the foreground (it was underexposed by at least three stops) and to bring out the detail in the clouds. Sunsets are sunsets, I guess, but this one really seemed to light up the sky, just after the sun dropped below the horizon. I had taken a few shots before that, but the 100 just flares too much to shoot right into the sun.

I'm coming around to really like the DA 35mm Limited Macro. This is a superb lens. Here's a test shot done this afternoon:
