A freak snow storm meant lots of hungry birds turned up at our door..some we don't usually see..

like Grackles and redwing blackbirds...

Thanks Karro!!
Long exposure. 13sec. Shot RAW and developed using Lightroom. I brought up shadows, clarity and decreased hightlights.. I also had on a polarized filter..

Thanks again!

RainMan - Thank you for the nice comment. That was my third time shooting Volbeat. The first was with Megadeth and Motorhead on my birthday. I got to meet Lemmy that night.

Here is another one that I liked. The lighting was so good that I had too many to publish.

Robert Caggiano formerly of Anthrax

It's fireworks season in my town too with 4 straight days of fireworks. Missed the first, but so far have managed to get to the 2nd and 3rd with the last one tomorrow night.

Day 2 with 18-135 for Single in April Challenge

Day 3 with FA31... They change the spot they launched from so had to make a quick change in location. Had some equipment failures with my tripod so not many keepers

This one I am hiding the faults with a faux film effect from Anolog Efex
