OK, how about this:
Photoble Uploader for PENTAX
or this:
https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=PENTAX%20DA35mm%20Macro%20Limited&sort=relevance

But you are right - it does not seem a popular lens for portaiture. Wrong focal length, perhaps too sharp. .

I have the 35 Limited (actually listed For Sale) and find it good for portraits. Here is a snap I shot at a wedding with the 35 Limited, at F2.8.

I'd say that a lens can never be too sharp, but this time I kind of agree with you. Not because it is too sharp but because it is maybe too slow. The focal length is ok I think (~50mm equivalent was actually a standard for portraits).

Just what I was talking about! Great image, I like it.
But why are you going to sell it?

Thanks for the kind words. I used the DA35 a ton at that wedding.

I recently bought the FA31 Ltd and it does not want to come off my camera! The 35 is a nice Macro option, but I don't really shoot that style, so the 35 has become a redundant second fiddle in the orchestra. I always thought the DA35 Ltd has great color and sharpness, but the FA31 is a bit wider, sharper and faster, and more congenial to my shooting style. I thought about keeping the DA35 but realized it just won't come out of my bag very much.

OK, now i understand... I really want an even wider lens like fujifilm xf 23mm 1.4. That lens is just gorgeous but pentax doesnt have something like that. It is a real 35mm equivalent on 35mm format.

The DA21mm Ltd is a wonderful lens on my K3. Check it out.

These shots were originally posted in the thread about B&H Orders of Sigma 18-35 F1.8.
Sigma 18-35 F1.8 at 35 mm F7.1
Sigma 18-35 F1.8 at 26 mm F2.8

Out of camera JPG files.

Speaking about DA 35 limited, I also find a very suitable lens for portraits (more so than for macro shooting). I posted one of my shots in this thread (last page): https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/138-pentax-k-01/178409-add-your-best-k-01-photos-here-182.html

Wonderful shots. Did you use a reflector?
