I have been having problems with my AF540 flash and the BG4 grip for my K5iis decided to stop working the month after the warranty ran out. Decided that rather than just replace the two items I would go ahead and take advantage of the B&H package with the K3, grip, and flash for $100 more than just the camera body. Here are a couple of the first shots.

My youngest granddaughter enjoyed the swing at a local playground.

Here are a couple of shots of a young ruby-throated hummingbird at the feeder.

GvilleRick,

Nice shots of the hummingbirds. Aren't grandkids the greatest invention ever?

This morning, or should I say dawn, I was with my friend who's fishermen and diver. We have been near the island of Krk, at the Adriatic Sea in my homeland, Croatia. This is the first picture that I processed, but just a little bit clarity and shadow correction. Pentax K-3 with smc PENTAX-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED [IF] Fisheye zoom

Wow, beautiful landscapes. I need to pull out my Sigma 10-20 and play some. We're heading to the beach next weekend so that should give me some chances.

This morning I looked out at the bird feeder and saw this chipmunk on my bird feeder. I had the Pentax 18-135 lens on so I went outside and got this shot.

I moved closer and got this shot using the built in flash.

He finally took off up the tree and froze just above me.

Great shots, Thomas. These footsteps are just fantastic, I suppose they are yours. Nice idea, good composition and story. I really like it.

I really like the colors on (in? me no speak Engrish!) one above the footsteps (seagull) - those blues remind me of film days, Fuji, in particular, and now I sound old.

This is my first attempt to develop some infrared photos. Original photos are from K-3 with smc PENTAX-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED [IF] Fisheye zoom. PP is from TopazBW 2 software. What do you think about this kind of photography?

Thought I would share a few photos from the Indianapolis Zoo.

With the DA 55-300

And a couple with the 50-135. I apologize for the noise. It was dark in this dolphin show and I had to push my iso up to 20,000 and shoot at f2.8 in order to halfway freeze the action (and I'm not great with noise reduction).

Something different. Pentax K-01 of my friend, with that I do time-lapse project, and with my K-3 I shot this scene. To all of you Pentaxians!
