Nice result.
Thanks.

I really like those mushrooms, wonderful compositions and nice color. You caught the light nicely.

The leaves were acting like a yellow filter in front of my light source, and gave em really unusual light, thanks for noticing.

Light that gives you that glow is wonderful. It's like a forest gift.

Rondec ... that has to be one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in a long time.

Austral Pygmy Owl, Torres del Paine National Park, Chile, September 2014.

This was taken using K3, DA*300 f4, HD 1.4x Rear Converter and Rogue Safari flash extender. I have previously posted some of my findings on the flash extender and found it a fantastic addition to my kit for travelling - it hardly weighs anything and provides similar performance to an external flash with beamer but just using the in-built flash. As it isn't made for Pentax, it requires a slight adjustment - just push it into the spacer until the tongue is about to protrude and then stop (for other brands, it is pushed all the way in).

Delightful - really nice light and that starburst from the 15 Ltd is just perfect.

Great shots, Rondec. I know the Wabash slightly, having driven the state highway that follows its course, and I like the memories your images inflamed in my mind.
