Rondec your shots often revolve around the same theme but you seem to find a way of diversifying them enough that they are always nice!

Thanks. I'm sort of stuck with the scenery that is around here. No really high mountains or high waterfalls. Just rolling hills, some farms and lots of telephone poles to clone out...

I know the feeling, you can only shoot what you've got. Everyone seems to think I have an ideal shooting location, but after a few years, you have to start looking for new angles, where ever you are. One guy said, "learn locally, then start travelling and apply your knowledge." Just at my age, travelling is tough, so it's just same old, same old for me. But for the younger folks, good photography should go hand in hand with famous shooting locations. If you can make the most of those rolling hills, you can make the most of anything.

That lens is great.. unfortunately with two other great lenses the Sigma 70 macro, and Tamron 90 macro close to it's range, I'll probably never own one. Thats the problem with 3rd party lenses. The Pentax lineup is pretty well thought out... buying 3rd party options breaks up the planned continuity. The third parties just make great lenses. They don't care if they fit in the Pentax line up. Starting over with unlimited funds, I'd have the 77 and for macro the 100 macro. But owning the 70 macro and 90 macro, it's unlikely either of those things will happen.
Thanks for your comment. I admire your work, and honored that you noticed my shots. The 77 constantly surprises, but I also value my 3rd party lenses.

Beautiful shots. No. 2 is my favorite! Great reflection symetry.

An amazing sky - I would swear that was a painting, all that's missing is the hand of God coming down !

Great shots jerricky! You almost had me on #2 the B&W! I cheated and did some pixel peeping which first lead me to notice it's at least a 3 or 4 frame panorama? But then, no, wait. you have dust on your sensor top left, and hey look, it's in the bottom left water reflection too...ahah! You flipped it and used it for a reflection! That's a real nice bit of post processing you did there! (except that sliver on the right... but we'll let that slide...heh heh) There is some ghosting of the buildings, and I'm still trying to figure out if that's because you were shooting out a window, or the stitching software "blend" at the seams left some of the overlap as a ghost? Just curious.

Either way, it's a great shot and works well viewed at the proper size. Thanks very much for posting!!

Hummingbirds are staying around so far and fighting over the feeders. I watched this one guarding one of the feeders. Shots with the Bigma and the K3.

Single shot with the Sigma 35mm Art. Odd/good/bad light on the mountain (Ben Cruachan in Scotland) with rain in the air giving a grainy/UV affected look. Still I quite like how it turned out.

That lens is the sharpest ever lens I put on my K-3 or K-5II... Nice rainbow touch there.
