Helios 44-K 4 in K-mount. This is a crop of the central part of the image. Roughly 50% of the frame's area. The building in Parliament in Budapest, Hungary.

I was lucky to catch this swallowtail in full flight. I hope others find it interesting.

I´m still on my quest to get used to lowlight events. At the Diwali Festival we had a wonderful Kathak dancer. I think i get a bit better at events in little steps. I´m quite happy with these pictures.

K-3 with Tamron 17-50 constant f 2.8 aspherical is my answer to low light events, and I do not miss too many shots. When natural lighting is not a part of what you are trying to accomplish, add a flash like the AF-360 FGZ with P-TTL capabilities and you will never miss a low-light shot.

Love your work from my 20+ trips to India! Hope you will show us more of it.

Wonderful shot there folks !
The K-3 is really an impressive camera at ease in very different situation.

I've yet to find a situation where the camera is the limit, usually it's me

With the K-3's fast continuous shooting I was able to get the muzzle flash in each of these "shots":

Wonderful captures of 2 beautiful dogs...I especially like the first one. I always wanted goldens but keep ending up with mutts!

Great !

Same thing here, with the K-3, I was able to nail this GBH in flight (more that 60 shots taken , and this is the best one)

Had the day off so I took a trip up into the mountains to see if the leaves had changed. This shot was using the Sigma 10-20 at 10mm from the edge or Pretty Place Chapel near Cedar Mountain, NC.

Another with the same lens.

Switched to the DA 18-135 and got a shot of this young lady sitting and reading on the outcropping.
