Right, from the images I've seen so far, you K3 owners are hereby banned from submitting any images to photo contests here at PF.
You've clearly got an unfair advantage.

You guys should know by now, no Pentax camera is ever successful unless it can render the beauty of a handsome squirrel. So get out there and find one, post it here and get the K3 rolling in the right direction early!

More and more K-3 shots are appearing on Flickr.

A quick question : Is the DA 50mm f1.8 really that bad when stopped down to f8 ? WTF is going on in the top right corner of this one ?

I have now done my own side-by-side tests with my own cameras, and come to significantly different conclusions from those I came to from processing the Imaging Resource DNGs. I have no idea why the results are so different. See My Pentax ISO tests.

This leaves me a bit confused. I won't be doing any more work on this in the near future, so I hope to see real-life practical tests from others. It would also be good if someone can identify if the Imaging Resource images are an anomaly. Or are my own tests flawed?
iso 51200 looks like ancient Film grain i kinda like that vintage feel

Very nice, I like the lighting and texture a lot. The depth works well in both, the first one looks almost otherworldly.
thanks for sharing.

From my first shooting day with the K-3.

No selective coloring used, the white background gave the surface this grey look and red droplet is done with food coloring.

I will never forget Florence...especially when we arrived in the city and the GPS got us directly in front of the David statue (which is in a piazza forbidden to cars...

An unforgettable moment, with all the italians police (carabinieri) shouting at us...

Was at a fashion shoot today, just a fun little practice and build your portfolio event. Took my K3 and FA 43/77 pairing along for the ride. Did everything with the single male model on the K3 with the sole intention of black and white. Here is the shot of the day.

K3 with FA 77
Lit with a Elinchrom Dlite 4 strobe using a Lastolite Hilite box as a huge 5x7 foot soft box to camera right

K3 with FA 77
Lit with an Elinchrom Dlite 4 strobe with a beauty dish and diffuser fitted. Light is directly behind the model just below the neck. The light bounced off the walls around us lighting the front. P.S. I love this image
