Practicing with flash and constant light. The idea was the blacken the background and isolate the subject. The other good thing, drinking the subject afterwards.

That's a nice looking shot John. Especially on the left , you've lost the back edge of the dark part of body of the bottle against the black background, but apart from that , quite nice.

Thanks guys and Norm you are right. I was fighting blackening the background vs light leak in the stuff behind the bottle. I'll work with my light a little more.

Here's my other example. I like the highlights in the bottle in this one.

I like this shot, but I would suggest a lens correction to straighten the light standard at the left - unless that is how it looks in real life.
