Karro... is that what the colours looked like when you were there? Most of the pictures I've seen of slot canyons were a lot richer.

K-3 and 18-135....

Norm, it all depends on the white balance and exposure correction, as it seems
When I was there myself, I was surprised to find out, that the colors are there, alright, but they're not that bright and exaggerated as usually seen in the pictures, more pastel-y, if that's a word, at least in the lower Antelope.
As for this particular image - I underexposed by 1.5 stops, I liked the mood better this way; in reality it was lighter. as for the balance - pretty close to the real life.

I like them, especially first two which give great sense of motion. Did you have SR enabled? I ask because in the second photo the blurred trees in the background seem to show a double image which might be SR doing a large move or running out of travel maybe?

I did. I was panning a little and left the SR on, which was probably a mistake.
