Well, we finally got a bit of spring action happening in Montreal! Two days ago I got my first jumping spider shot of the season, and today the crocuses have bloomed!

There's some great stuff here guys.

Driline and jgirl57 - I love the detail in your photos. I have to say, as a group we are doing really well.

Thank you!!

I just noticed how to change the metering focus just today as well! I was like ooo so that is what it does, pretty impressive, I noticed with mine though it works great for focus stacking but not really good for tracking. I noticed if I have it on the smaller square(the middle) it does a better job focus tracking but only in the middle. The full auto it tends to go anywhere .

No matter what I have it on, I have noticed that the best most awesome focus is smack dab in the center/middle no matter what setting I have it on.

Is it just me or is other people noticing that as well?

Doundounba- those are the exact kind of macro I want to do !!! What lens are you using for those? I have not figured out how to do that kind of macro yet LOL but I am trying.
Awesome capture.. I noticed I have less spiders in my house when I have my macro lens in my hand LOL

I love working with this model. She's so awesome. A bit of a pain to photograph as I'm 5"7' and shes 6"2', but we do get good results.

These are all K3 and DA* lenses.
