Recently got the K-3 Prestige. This was from the first outing with it, still learning it and the new 18-135mm. The focus challenge for this shot was getting through the fence...

A few 16-50 shots (weather sealing came in handy as it was rainy and windy)...

Fences can be a real pain at a zoo, especially chain link. A big cat rescue place in Florida used welded livestock fencing with about 3X3 openings, large enough to align a lens to peak through, but there was a knee high barrier about 4 feet back with an absolute, constantly monitored prohibition for reaching over even an inch or two. Perfectly reasonable and sensible, but exasperating.

This is a real show off of the K3 features. K3 and DA 21 HD on an evening walk in Brisbane - in camera filter processed and saved to second card. The images have been downloaded and resized for web with a little tweaking. The red is the illumination of the Treasury Casino and the green was the internal illumination of the sculpture. Hand held 1/10 sec, F7.1 ISO 3200

Hand held on a railing 1/13 sec, F5.6 ISO 3200

Great looking photo. But sinking the boat just for the sake of a photo is really going over the top don't you think

Lovely shot, Perfect tonal range and intriguing somewhat enigmatic expression on the young lady.
