Great looking photo. But sinking the boat just for the sake of a photo is really going over the top don't you think

Hey, that was my boat, I wondered what happened to it.
I do whatever I have to in order to get the shot! Even if it means sinking a fellow Pentaxian's boat!

Lovely shot, Perfect tonal range and intriguing somewhat enigmatic expression on the young lady.
Thank you kindly. This was actually more of a grab shot. Sienna was coming out of the bathroom after changing and I liked the textures on the wall. So I asked her to pose real quick. The color of the bathroom wall was terrible so I knew immediately that I would be going for B&W. It was the easiest shot to edit so I did that one first.

This is a real show off of the K3 features. K3 and DA 21 HD on an evening walk in Brisbane - in camera filter processed and saved to second card. The images have been downloaded and resized for web with a little tweaking. The red is the illumination of the Treasury Casino and the green was the internal illumination of the sculpture. Hand held 1/10 sec, F7.1 ISO 3200 Hand held on a railing 1/13 sec, F5.6 ISO 3200
Nicely interesting variation on the processing for those locations. I can't say I have tried those.

I just updated my firmware to 1.21. Installed the Tamron 70-200 F2.8 on the camera a took a walk around the yard.

The butterfly photo was hard to capture as it is windy out and the flower (wild phlox) was blowing all over the place.

The robin is out grocery shopping for the family. It kept diving into the lilles of the valley behind it and adding bugs to tehe shopping cart. My yard has become robin rookery this year with several nests in the yard. I even have a nest sitting on the top of my extension ladder in the garage.

The bleeding hearts are the last late bloomers of the season.

The hostas have really taken off to last few years.

A few from Marwell Zoo

As a recent poster experienced ... big challenges, as most of these were through wire fences.

Red Panda was 40' up tree .. waited ages for it to look in my direction.

Lots of fun though.

All taken with my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX DG .. first time I've used it for a while.

Paul.

@gaweidert: Your butterfly is actually a moth (butterflies always have clubbed antennae), looks like a very worn White Slant-line (Tetracis cachexiata). More info here:

I really like this, it gives me ideas for composite shots of stationary subjects w/ moving parts, very cool!

Much appreciated! Used a flash with gel for some fill light.

Well, she wouldn't be coming to me if you were getting the job done. Thanks BTW.
