Wonderful set. That lens has covered all the bases alright- better than all right.
Thanks, I did miss my DA 10-17 and A-400.

All of those are great, Norm. The first one is a stunner!
That's a great spot to take pictures. I've taken other photographers there.

K-3 and DA 18-135

It turned into a one lens kind of trip. The 18-135 did it all.

Lovely shots norm. Seems like it was great day.

A great 10 days... well som of them were kind of boring, but certainly lots of great opportunities, as well.

Thank you. It's Monaco. That road is a part of the Formula One track.

Some astrophotography in the city. It's not a big deal for K-3, This was my first test, so the foreground it's a mess.
Taken with 18-135, one file from camera.

Nice! I love star trails, well done. Any more info how you did it? Is it one exposure or a composite?

Very nice, Vincent. I like the second one best with the light trails.

Thanks. It is sort of a composite -- I couldn't get a nice exposure of the moon and have any detail in the landscape otherwise...

Cool, you'll have to teach me how to do that! I tried once, but it sucked.

I just got the K3 yesterday, but I was in a hurry to take some photos of a couple watches I'm selling. Didn't realize I was shooting at ISO 3200. Still, not too bad. When I zoomed in on the original raw photo, I could see the grain, especially on the blue dial.

Playing around with a Helios lens this weekend (thanks mwilky55!) Definitely has a certain 1960s colour rendition to it. Fun stuff!

Took this with an 18-135, inside of a hornets nest.
