Yes! I've sold my 150-500 together with my K-30, so now with the K-3 until i get my hands on new telephoto lens i'd have to watch for my head

I posted this in other threads here, because it shows what the K3 and the 55-300 can do handheld. No PP with the exception of cropping. That's the beauty of the K3, I'm very impressed with the quality of photos coming out of it, especially the sharpness.

Our church is creating a new web site and I am photographing the churches for the project - as well as collecting history - and the priest commented within my hearing that my photos were sharp and beautiful. I'm loving the combination of the K3 and the DA 12-24. The banner shots are specified at 1500 x 580 px (don't ask - I have no idea where that weird size came from) and they come out absolutely superbly. This is cropped to 5504 px X 2128 to balance the lights. K3+DA 12-24, Manfrotto 055B + 0168 ball head. Live view, level on (what a gift!).

The full size should be on Flickr.

K-3 and DA 18-135, ISO 100, ƒ5.6 all hand held, because I got really lazy. Burst mode often saved the day, but not always.

The last colour left is Tamaracs and Whispering Aspens... fall is almost gone, winter's coming on...

That penultimate shot is especially striking.
Here is similar Autumn color in Messychewbits, and as this is Robert Frost country, these are woods within which paths diverge. K3 + 16~85

There is a painters weekend sponsored by the Couple's resort. The were planning to bring a group of painters there the next day. We met the woman scouting locations.

K3 and DA*16-50 100% crop. 21mm f7.1 ISO 100 1/160 hand held.
Some of the people in the local camera club keep trying to convince me I need to go full frame. I keep telling them me and my K3 are doing just fine.

Uncropped image, the cropped part is the upper middle of the tree.

DA 10-17 10mm f8 ISO 100 1/60s I am rediscovering how much I like this lens.

Normhead, that Poverty Creek image is stunning! Could easily be a magazine cover. You certainly captured the awesome colors beautifully!

Thanks CSA, although, Tess will tell you she saw it first. Don't listen to her.

I love this graffiti, reminds me of bad science fiction novel covers from my youth. DA 16-45 doing well here, if I do say so myself.

A family group in a typical stylized carving, but nevertheless appealing. K3 + Sigma 17-70
