I agree. It is tough sometimes with work schedules, but having kids to have fun with and experience things with brings an increased level of joy to a lot of every day routine experiences.
I won't call it my favorite part of having children, but it certainly was a guiltless pleasure: having an excuse to go to Disney World and enjoy any and all the leave-your-problems-at-the-gate pleasures and indulge the joy of being a kid again myself.

Yep, no guilt doing parks with the young ones. I'm very lucky that my daughter (1968 model) still loves going to parks, and we sometimes get to go along with her and her like minded husband.

The more it hurts to have to say that I'm faced with some AF issues (most probably the well known SDM problem). Many times I can't get fine AF anymore, have to go out of focus manually and then try again. Time to study how to convert the lens from SDM to screw-drive.

Personally, in that focal length range, I find manual focus works better for me. I can focus where I want the focus to be. Unlike the 50-135 with dead SDM, that I swapped out in a snit, I would keep the 16-50 and not bother with the screw drive hack.

To be honest, I am not sure if this one is x-posted ...

Taken with the K3 and the 77ltd. in Shanghai.
Details of the Jin Mao Tower and the WFC building at Century Avenue. I never get bored to visit this place!

I'm so desperate for a few moments of sun, I'll even post shots of the usual suspects. At least they're new today. I can't bring myself to just recycle old work, it seems so wrong. YOU gotta keep on shooting. No resting on past laurels. I had maybe 45 minutes of sun,and i managed to get to the blind for 20 minutes of it.

K-3 and A-400

The usual suspects.

For those of us who focus on flowers instead of rodents, perhaps we ought to be given dispensation to post from the gardening season just ended. Otherwise, there would be no subjects for our lenses, except those sort of test shots that I sometimes make of the computer printer, the book shelves, and other assorted miscellany, that is, unless we are willing to risk the obloquy of shoppers and miscellaneous passersby should we decide to take our camera (or digitalized version of a camera) into museums of natural history, flower shops, and the like in order to keep our hobby active.
