Thanks! No it was with 14mm, but I can't dial that to SR in K-3. 12 works well with 14 mm.
Excuse my ignorance, but can you decipher that statement please?

Thanks.

SR = shake reduction. The specific FL he was using (14mm) is not listed in the SR menu of the K3 camera body, so a close value was selected (12mm), and it worked satisfactorily.

"FL" = "focal length", i.e., the length of the lens ...

O/k, thanks, I didn't realise you could dial in SR for specific lenses, but just realised it was probably a manual lens. I don't own any so never use it.

Going back through my photos, I found this one from Kawartha Highlands park in the fall (Anstruther lake.) At the time I didn't really like the photo, but looking back I'm impressed with the colours I managed to pull out of it. Gray, gray day.

After waiting for over a month I finally got a weekend with the sun out. K3 plus 60-250 and Tamron 1.4TC. I think the 60-250 is going to see a lot of use this year.

K3 plus Tokina 400mm AF.

Yes, that was it. and wider FL works better than 'longer' , not found by me, but I can see that. 12mm works really well with 14mm lens.

here is one shot with F28 which does not need any manual dial for FL.

I love SR! This is a handheld bracketed shot with the DA70, the slowest shutterspeed being 1/10th.
