Not at all! I'd much rather hear it from you than the folks on the other end of my camera. I'm gonna dig into that and see what's up. Pentax had my cam for 8 weeks and it seemed better but they never would tell me what they replaced.

The dark moody stuff I rather like a tad soft but I thought most of them were pretty good. Wonder Woman was rough and PS shake reduction helped about 50% but I like the shot so much I couldn't let it go. Probably should get over that!

New lens landed on the door step today but I don't expect it to be sharper than a 50mm prime. (Tamron 28-75 f2.8 for a walk around) The good news is more often than not I get OMG that's amazing hysterical calls from model when they open their folder and see their stuff. I just never let them see LeRolls work!

I'm always fascinated by human inability to give up on fire. They hold candlelight vigils, light votive candles, and set up eternal flames, but not a flashlight vigil, a votive LED, or an eternal headlight.

Thank you so much! I think that's the first time that word has been used to refer to one of my photos. Possibly, the fantastic music (from the equally fantastic movie The Name of the Rose) does three-quarters of the work, but you can compare and contrast the treatment of the last shot with this one, where I tried for something much more like a photo or an illustration you might find in an old book...

Both are very good images, and of a place that I love and have photographed from the inside. I was lucky to be there one day that the organist was rehearsing. J'aime bien Montréal et l'Oratoire Saint-Joseph. Whenever we visit, this is on the itinerary.

How, or where did you get this shot of him from right above? Nice shot
I was walking along the public pier at Pensacola beach to take a shot of the hotel we were staying at and just happened to see him float by beneath me.

For what it's worth after 100,000 shots in motorsports world I found out women are far more interesting and it's really a plus that they quite enjoy having the images. To me the biggest thing is motorsports is all about waiting for the right moment. That perfect instant when the car is just at the apex of the turn or just launching from the tree. It's very passive but with models there is no waiting for anything. It is completely active as you are the one to create the moment. It's less relaxing and I do still go to the track but it sure is more rewarding.
