Managed to be on a bridge over the Rideau canal at sunset, with a tripod.

Also bagged a (poor) photo of the Rideau sinkhole repairs. Wow.

Finally, an enterprising business making the best of the situation.

Local 'Drumming Down the Sun' event for midsummer, it rained a tad!

from the garden: Aesculus parviflora aka Bottlebrush Buckeye in full bloom. if you're ever in St. Louis, MO, the botanical garden there has a prolific collexion of these. it's definitely a site to see.

mr. bee was letting me tag along this evening. bit of a breeze. 18-135. handheld.

Her name is Alejandra. She only eats steak and apparently people tell her that she resembles Selena Gomez.

She usually only wears solid black but I got her to wear something a little more colorful for this shoot.
