A few shots wide open with the Yashinon DS-N 50mm f/1.4 on the K3. As this is an M42 lens without an A/M switch it can only be used wide open with the normal M42 to K adapter. It's quite soft and glowy with some funky bokeh but useable for small display sizes. Whatever sharpening has been applied by Flickr has improved the look of these somewhat.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally won something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose that in order to grow corn that well you would need a lot of this. K3 + 150-450 lens, Shot of some grass that won the buffalo chips lottery.

I think normhead is right. This would not have looked any better if I had used my K1.

Actually I just purchased him online. I will have it in hand in about a week or so. We should send this to PF members like others have done in the past and take pictures of "Corny Corn Cob" where ever you live and then pass it on LOL.

I'd really like to see how LeRolls would use it in one of his modeling shoots

Thats the issue with some shots, it has the potential to look a lot more disgusting taken with a K-1. Taken with an old 7 EV DR 1 MP point and shoot, it has the potential to look a lot better.

As in still disgusting but not as disgusting... that's "better" right?

Could you possibly post something a little smaller than full on 24MP jpgs? On PF, there's really no need for anything larger than 1,280 pixels wide, as on most browsers, your photo gets displayed in that width anyway. But first it gets downloaded in its full 24MP, so it's a huge waste of bandwidth, especially for folks still on dial-up or on a mobile connection with limited and/expensive bandwidth. If you want, you can display something smaller here and link to the higher resolution version for people who might want to see your image in more detail.

Here is a damselfly, and then a couple of shots of a Robber Fly with potential prey. It was a struggle though, and eventually the Robber Fly let go of the wasp... (!) All shots are D-FA 100mm plus Raynox DCR-250.

Part of this coastal town (Camden, ME) is built over a river, so a substantial flow comes out from under several buildings and tumbles down into the harbor.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize my image links were being transferred that large.
