Stone stack picture was taken during recent hike with my Son. The little river water was dried up, somebody built these stones and it was interesting, took a snap.

Used the Sigma 70-300 APO DG lens, didn't expect much out of the lens but was surprised at how sharp the lens is from 70 to 300. Pictures looks more towards cool side, increase in warmth creates much more punchy picture.

Thanks for the comments. I will try it out when I see similar next time.

call challenged but upheld

when and how can you slide now a days????

used " back focus " on runner before play started and just followed him into the second base, then shifted to first to catch action there but no throw was ever made

Took few pics at LA Zoo with the Pentax 18-135 lens. Very good lens. I carried the 55-300 but didn't have the need to change lens. 18-135 is perfect walk around and travel lens. Very good sharpness when light is good.
