I finally had the occasion to put the K-3's Weather Resistance to the test! I was at my brother-in-law's place in the countryside. The rain was just pouring, but I went out in the backyard and spotted a creature I'd never seen before. Well, I
had to shoot it! I stuck the umbrella shaft into my fleece jacket and rested the umbrella on top of my head to have both hands free while still avoiding getting
completely soaked. I would not have done this in a public park - must have been quite the sight! Anyway, the camera, lens and flash still got drenched in the 30 minutes it took to get this focus stack - the (circa 8mm) leafhopper was pretty shy at first. I'm surprised the (non-WR) flash survived! The camera and lens were, of course, fine.
