It was shot with the D-FA 100mm WR, the HD 1.4X tele-converter and a Raynox MSN-202 diopter. Plus flash, of course. It's a pretty deep focus stack too. I'd probably not pick it as my best ever flake image though - that honor would likely go to either
this one or
that one from last year. I think what I most need to work on now is my flake selection process - I'm shooting too much and it makes the post-processing exhausting. I might try to use my wife's Pentax Papilio binoculars to get a better idea of what I'm shooting before I actually shoot it...
