I took my K3ii to The Canadian Warplane Heritage on Saturday and found a Harvard with it's insides hanging out. I played with some b&w effects, then the wife told me to bring out the reds in the rag. I'm impressed what my K3ii can do!

I'm impressed with your wife. The second shot is nicer to me. You should always bring her along with your K-3ii.

I have driven by it so often, I really have to stop in sometime.

Thank you for the comment. He was a very active bassist. No he wasn't playing lead guitar. They had a lead who wast just as active however he was always heavily back lit. You can see him on the left of this scene running around. Further, you can see how hard this was to shoot with the heavy back light and no front light.

Really nice work, John. I shoot concerts from time to time as well, and I know how challenging the lighting can be. The rockers I shoot tend to be more on the geriatric end of the spectrum, though.

Thank you for the nice comment. They are difficult at times and super fun. I feel more part of the show than the other folks in the audience.

LOL, I know about the geriatric set. When I photograph classic bands, they are always older too.

Coming from the K-30, the speed at which the K-3 focuses is crazy!
I barely had time to get the lens cap off to get this shot.

I wanted to try out the tracking, so I grabbed my best helper and "let 'er rip!"
So far I haven't had an issue with tracking fore/aft or side to side.
I now see why the K-3 is such a highly regarded APS-C Camera.

Nice patterns. It doesn't get much lower than that.

I'm a Zombies fan. They're older than me but not by a whole lot. My favorite concert shot was of Big Mountain's lead singer Quino McWhinney, which I think I posted a couple years ago, but I got some decent ones of the older guys here and there. I hope to get another shot at Elton before he calls it entirely quits.

OOPS! Lost track of which thread I'd opened so I deleted an improper pair of images. Maybe nobody saw them.

Everybody saw them. No one has ever seen anything like it. An executive committee meeting has been called.

I was just here browsing and didn't see them.
