Just quite a contrast from where we were. Old 19 century ball field in a restored village. The ball getting lost in a cornfield and everyone looking for it. (They did find it). The girl was one heck of a ball player too. Classic shot there.

A few more from Pearl Jam. This K3 just rocks!! This first shot is at ISO 3200 pushed 2 stops. The others are pushed just as hard.

Thanks Steve! Next year I'll be planting a bunch of different sunflowers, to "aid" the bird's planting!

After 2.5 hours, my neck started hurting so I packed it in.
It was just bad luck, all the meteors were coming and going outside the frame lol.

K-3 with Sigma 17-70 F/2.8-4 DC Macro HSM.
Manually focused at 17 mm.

The street scene...
F/2.8, ISO-1600, 15 sec.

The Perseus Constellation...
F/3.5, ISO-3200, 15 sec

The Phoenix Cloud (It just appeared out of no where)...
F/4, ISO 2500, 15 Sec

Green Meteor streak towards the top right...
F/4, ISO-2500, 15 sec

Red Moon Rising. Smoky sky tonight. Normally I shoot the moon at 1/125 @ f/8 and ISO 100. This is at ISO 6400! K-3 and A* 600 f/5.6 + 1.5x TC.

Steve, I really like that shot! Yep smoky skies gives some unusual visual opportunities. Might as well use the smoky skies to their advantage!
