It actually quit raining for a few minutes so I went out for a quick walk with my "new to me" K3II.
I love the rich colours gotten after a rain.

After raining most of the morning, the sun peeked out for a bit.

A tad blowy again today, Port Dalhousie lighthouse. K3ii, 300mm lens with 1.4 extender, quite the handful today!

K-3 with Pentax 67 lens

Trying out the Pentax 67 300mm f 4.0 (with adapter). Not the world's best telephoto lens, but a bargain approach to long telephoto on the K-3, with FOV approximately equivalent to a native DA 900mm lens on the K-3.

K-3 and DA* 200

It's not often shooting with the 200 you have to bend over whole lot. It's a nice standup lens.

Been really busy with work all summer & fall. I finally pulled the chips out of my K-3 and worked a bit with this one. 55-300 and heavy crop from about 100-125 feet away. My opportunity didn't last long before this beauty went back on patrol.

Thanks Rondec, it's a beautiful place! I was lucky to go midweek, I only had to clone out a few people, some shots none at all!

The colder weather here brings these guys indoors, a giant desert centipede! This is a youngster, only 4 inches long, many adults reach 12 inches........ After a few shots I have him/her in a box to be put back outside as they are my #1 scorpion control.
