Golden-crowned Kinglet. One of our earliest-arriving migrating birds. Nice capture.

They are curious little birds, very interested in people and quite bold.

Fantastic photos!

Here's one I took the other day when the sun was out briefly. It has been very dreary as of late so it was a welcome respite.

Views from our sun room

Here are a couple of bird shots through the window along with a snippet of evergreen.

KIT: K-3 with adapted Pentax 67 200mm f 4.0. The 200mm has a degree of sharpness, excellent MFD, and reach to allow these uncropped bird views.

This photo was from my first outing with a used Pentax K-3 that I just purchased. The 18-135 mm lens was a real challenge when it came to getting close to this Black-capped chickadee. I plan on getting a 55-300 mm lens in the future.

I have a Tamron 18-400 mm lens on another camera, but I will stick to Pentax WR lenses on the Pentax.

86 seconds, with f29, 18-135 lens, taken last night, which was supposed to be warmer, but not much!
