This white tail was just over the back fence.
K-3 + DA 55-300 Hand held. Tav 1/320@f/8 ISO 800.

There is a hummingbird moth and part of a swallow tail in this image. Can you find them.

I can prove the swallow tail was there, I din't see the moth until post processing. Spotted on my morning run to the dump.

I actually found 2 hummers in that top photo... never spotted the swallow tail... what quadrant?

A mom raccoon in defense mode... HD 55-300 [non PLM] with K3-II and AF 360 flash/ with focus assist on in very dark back yard...I stayed way back as she did not look friendly.....even though she has seen me many times.....

Thanks, Ray. Soft lighting is the only lighting we ever get back there, so I cannot take any credit for that. Our house is to the North of a North facing downhill slope covered in Lodgepole Pines.

Indeed; and I want a higher quality "thin" one, so that pushes the cost up higher. Got too many other places for the money, right now.
