Attachment 462386 A lovely sharp shot, however, to make the helicopter look like a real plane, not a model on a string, you need to blur rotors or propellers. To do this a shutter speed of around 1/250 is best.
Just trying to turn your shots at a very prestigious airshow from ok, to amazing.
Here's 2 shots as an example, the first shows movement,1/160 sec. In the second, although the Spits were taxiing, they appear to be stationary, due to early morning and not thinking, 1/1500 sec.
